Privacy.

Details you give us: when you submit an enquiry or booking, or email us — your name, email, role, company, the product or topic you're interested in, and anything you write. Scheduling details when you book a call (date/time and anything you add), handled through our booking provider. Technical and usage data your browser sends (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited), used to keep the site secure and to understand in aggregate how it's used.

To reply to enquiries, arrange and run calls, deliver work you've engaged us for, and keep the site running and secure. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us and operating the site) and, where you're enquiring about working with us, taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We don't sell personal data and we don't use it for behavioural advertising.

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, each under their own data-processing terms: Cal.com (call scheduling); Attio (our CRM, where enquiry and contact records are kept); Google Workspace (email, including hello@altco.io); and Lovable / Supabase (site hosting and form storage). If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-first, cookie-free tool — see our Cookie notice. We don't share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally it's protected by appropriate safeguards, such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — enquiry and contact records for as long as we're in contact and a reasonable period afterwards — then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Under UK and EU GDPR you can ask us to give you access to, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and you can object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@altco.io to make a request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
