Tools aren't enough. Capability wins.

Treating AI as a faster tool — copilots, note-takers, quicker drafts — caps the return at incremental efficiency inside a cost base that never changes. AI is a capability: it changes what the work can be, not just how fast you do the work you already had. Which is why the first question isn't which tool to buy. It's what to point the capability at, and then designing the work from there.
